Section 7.03 Duties in General.
   The Director of Public Service shall under the general supervision of the Mayor:
   (a)    Manage, conduct and supervise all operations of the municipally-owned utilities,
   (b)    Make investigations and analyses of finances of the municipally-owned utilities, and make recommendations to the Mayor and Council concerning all charges and rates to be made for services rendered and all extensions and curtailments of service,
   (c)    Make investigations and recommendations to Mayor and Council concerning all new construction, maintenance and replacement of existing municipally owned utilities, facilities and equipment, and submit plans for future operations of the same,
   (d)    Be responsible for the construction, improvement, repair and maintenance of all public streets and alleys, public buildings, public lands, drains, ditches, and storm sewer facilities,
   (e)    EDITOR’S NOTE: Former subsection (e) hereof was repealed by the voters on November 2, 1999.
   (f)    Supervise the lighting, sprinkling and cleaning of public streets and places,
   (g)    (EDITOR'S NOTE: Former subsection (g) hereof was repealed by the voters on November 8, 1994.)
   (h)    Assist the Mayor in the performance of the Mayor's duties that may be delegated by the Mayor, and
   (i)    Have such other powers and duties as may be prescribed by ordinance of Council and the Statutes of the State of Ohio if not inconsistent with this Charter pertaining to the position of Director of Public Service.
   (j)   Be a non-voting member of the Parks and Recreation Commission.
