Section 3.01 Election and Term.

(a) The Mayor shall be elected at each regular municipal election beginning in the year 1971 for a term of four (4) years, which term shall commence and he shall assume office on December 1 following his election, and shall hold office until his successor is elected and qualified.

(b) The position of Mayor shall be full-time, effective January 3, 2000.
