As of the effective date hereof and with the exception of bus stops, advertising benches are prohibited on public ways and property in the village 1 . This limitation shall not apply to decorative benches placed by the village. No decorative bench shall be installed or maintained without a permit obtained from the village clerk. The permit application shall include the location of the proposed bench or benches and such other information as required by the village. (1965 Code §§ 5-7-1, 5-7-2, 5-7-3; amd. 2009 Code)
