Officers and employees may and are encouraged to report improper governmental action to their supervisor, department head, or elected official. Officers and employees may alternatively report improper governmental action to the Lyon County Human Resources Director, County Manager, or the District Attorney. No reprisal or retaliatory action shall be taken against an officer or employee because the officer or employee made a report of improper governmental action. (Ord. 546, 2-17-2011; amd.
