The public administrator, or other suitable person designated by the board, who performs duties pursuant to section 1.17.02 of this chapter may file with the board a request for payment for expenses incurred in the performance of such duties.
A. The amount to be paid as expenses must be determined by the board.
B. Payment must be made from the general fund of the county, if the board approves the request and determines that there is sufficient money in the fund to pay the public administrator or other suitable person designated by the board to perform those duties.
C. The board need not authorize payment of any expense that can be paid from the assets of a person or an estate subject to Nevada Revised Statutes 253.040 or section 1.17.02 of this chapter. (Ord. 586, 4-7-2016; amd. Ord. 609, 10-17-2019)
