8.11.01: PURPOSE:
The Board of County Commissioners has found and determined that the area of the County hereinafter described in this Chapter and commonly known as Weed Heights, consists, in part, of a private housing unit owned by the Anaconda Copper Company. The area of the County encompasses a number of roads, highways and streets owned and maintained by the Anaconda Copper Company. The roads, highways and streets are ways open to the public, generally, as well as to the residents of that area of the County and the employees of the Anaconda Copper Company. The public health, safety and welfare requires the establishment of traffic regulations within that area of the County for the proper control and regulation of the heavy volume of vehicular traffic along and upon the roads, highways and streets.
