Nothing herein contained in this chapter shall prevent the maintenance of a suit by Lyon County against any of the persons herein in this chapter mentioned to collect the expense of such abatement or removal or the criminal prosecution under this code, of any person creating, maintaining, causing or committing a nuisance, or owning or in possession, charge or control of the real property upon which a nuisance is created, maintained, caused or committed. The alternative remedies set forth in this chapter may be pursued by the board of county commissioners or the Lyon County office of the district attorney separately or concurrently.
