A. Regular Meetings: Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes 244.085, the first and third Thursdays of each month are fixed as the dates of regular meetings of the board of county commissioners
B. The first meeting of the board in odd numbered years shall be held on the first Monday in January.
C. All regular meetings of the board of county commissioners shall be held either at the administrative complex in the City of Yerington, County of Lyon (county seat), or at such place within the county as may be designated by the unanimous consent and order of the board of county commissioners. However, the regular meetings of the board of county commissioners must be held at the county seat at least once in each calendar month as required by NRS 244.085.
D. Additional Meetings: In addition to the regular meeting dates established in subsection A of this section, the board of county commissioners, may schedule additional meetings as determined by the Chair or the consent of the board of county commissioners. Additional meetings of the board of county commissioners may be held at any place within the boundaries of the county.
E. At a meeting held outside the county seat, the board of county commissioners may, in accordance with NRS 241.020, take final action on any matter except zoning or planning matters which relate to a different geographical area than the geographical area in which the meeting is held.
F. Meeting Dates Falling On Saturdays, Sundays Or Holidays: In the event that any meeting date of the board of county commissioners established in this section shall fall on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, then, and in that event, the meeting shall be held upon the next succeeding day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday.
