143.01 ESTABLISHED.

   There is hereby established a Village Planning Commission consisting of five members: The Mayor, one member of Council to be elected thereby for the remainder of his term as such member of Council, and three citizens of the Village who shall serve without compensation and who shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by Council for a term of six years, except that the term of one of the citizen members of the first commission shall be for four years and one for two years.

143.02 POWERS AN DUTIES.

   The powers of the Planning Commission shall be those granted by Ohio R.C. 713.01, 2713.27, and Ohio R.C. 735.15 as well as all other sections of the Ohio Revised Code and of the Constitution of the State of Ohio now in effect or which may hereafter be passed and effective and relating to Village Planning Commissions as well as all ordinances passed by Council relating to the Planning Commission.
