§ 35.06  CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT.
   (A)   Members of the Police Department shall be appointed by the City Manager after due examination, and based upon the results of the examination, together with the recommendations of the Chief of Police.
   (B)   An appointee shall serve 12 months probation.
