(A) The consumer's premises shall be open at all reasonable times to the city or its authorized representative, for the conduction of surveys and investigations or water practices within the consumer's premises to determine whether there are actual or potential cross-connections in the consumer's water system.
(B) The customer's system shall be open for inspection at all reasonable times to authorized representatives of the City of Loup City, Nebraska, to determine whether cross-connections or other structural or sanitary hazards, including violations of these regulations, exist. When such a condition becomes known, the Water Commissioner or Utilities Superintendent shall require the customer to correct the condition within 14 days. If the condition is not corrected within 14 days then the Water Commissioner or Utilities Superintendent shall deny or immediately discontinue service to the premises by providing for a physical break in the service line until the customer has corrected the condition in conformance with state and city statutes relating to plumbing and water supplies and the regulations adopted pursuant thereto.
