§ 39.160 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REPORTING REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   The Mayor or his/her designee shall:
      (1)   Submit quarterly reports within 30 days of the end of each quarter to the Labor and Economic Development Committee or a subsequent committee with similar oversight, as directed by the Council President. At a minimum, the report is to address the following:
         (a)   Details pertaining to recently awarded Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and issued Requests for Information (RFIs), including persons or entities with bid submissions, project information, submitted bids, and if a final decision was made, the evaluation factors and parties involved in the final decision.
         (b)   Recent economic development activities, to include quantitative information (e.g., employment and tax-base growth) and qualitative information (e.g., recent successes or failures and lessons learned).
         (c)   Details on any recently acquired or disposed of government-owned real property, including, but not limited to vacant and abandoned property and trends related to government-owned property.
         (d)   Current market trends and analysis pertaining to economic development, including, but not limited to Louisville Metro Government's efforts to attract more business to the area.
         (e)   Any consultants hired through Louisville Forward or Develop Louisville or the Economic Development arm of Metro Government will share any final report, written or oral, with Metro Council's Labor and Economic Development Committee and the President of the Council, with the exclusion of confidential reports covered under current statute.
         (f)   There will be a list consisting of all consultants hired by Louisville Forward, Develop Louisville, or the Economic Development Office of Metro Louisville and a description of the duties of each consultant hired. This list will be produced quarterly to the Metro Council Labor and Economic Development Committee and the President of the Council.
      (2)   Make a timely appearance before the Labor and Economic Development Committee or a subsequent committee with similar oversight, as directed by the Council President, to answer questions and discuss the contents of the submitted report.
   (B)   The records and information provided to the Metro Council through this quarterly report do not constitute a waiver of any applicable open records exemptions as set forth in the provisions of the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 et seq.
