§ 37.26 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN. A written, results-oriented program, in which a contractor details the steps it will take to insure equal employment opportunity, including, where appropriate, the setting of goals and timetables for employing minority group members and females in all levels of its employment.
   APPROVAL. Approval by the Commission, that a contractor or vendor is qualified under the terms of this subchapter to do business with the Metro Government, its officers, departments or agencies.
   BONA FIDE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN. A set of specific and result oriented procedures, goals and timetables to which an entity commits itself to apply every good faith effort in order to achieve equal employment opportunity. Procedures without effort to make them work are meaningless and effort undirected by specific and meaningful procedures is inadequate.
   COMMISSION. The Louisville Metro Human Relations Commission - Enforcement.
   CONTRACT. Any Metro Government contract, lease or other agreement that is required to be advertised for bids whether pursuant to KRS Chapter 45A, Model Procurement Code, KRS 424.260, or any future procurement ordinance enacted by the Metro Government.
   CONTRACTOR. Any person, firm, corporation or association who has entered into, or is desirous of entering into a contract with the Metro Government to perform some act and/or provide some service.
   METRO GOVERNMENT. The Louisville/ Jefferson County Metro Government, its members and any department, agency or subdivision thereof, but not including other elected constitutional Metro Government officers.
   PURCHASING DEPARTMENT. The Louisville Metro Purchasing Department.
   VENDOR. Any person, firm, corporation or association who is desirous of entering into a contract with the Metro Government to perform some act and/or provide some service.
