521.11 STORAGE OF BUILDING MATERIALS AND FIREWOOD.
   (a)    No occupant or owner shall permit the accumulation on any improved or vacant premises in the City of any lumber, boxes, barrels, bricks, stones, logs, firewood or similar materials, unless the same are placed on open racks, elevated not less than six inches above the ground and evenly piled or stacked, so that such materials do not afford harborage for rats or become a fire hazard, unless the above is stored in a structure or building on such premises that does not afford harborage for rats or become a fire hazard.
   This section does not prevent persons from storing building or construction materials for periods of not more than thirty days.

   (b)    Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor; a separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
