157.11 MILITARY INDUCTION LEAVE.
   (a)   Any permanent full-time employee inducted into the Armed Forces of the Unites States of America under the Universal Military Training and Service Act of Congress and amendments thereto shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of re-employment, seniority, status and pay as provided in that Act at the time of his or her return from the Service.
   (b)   At any time before the expiration of such leave of absence, the employee shall have the right to return to his prior position provided:
      (1)   There is a vacancy in his former position;
      (2)   He is still qualified for his former position;
      (3)   His service with the Armed Forces has been honorable or satisfactory and he establishes this fact to the satisfaction of the City Manager;
      (4)   He can pass a physical examination which may be required by the City.
   (c)   In the event the employee's former position is nonexistent or the employee is no longer physically qualified for his former position, but is able to satisfactorily perform the duties of some other City position, every reasonable effort shall be made to place such employee in a position.
