Members of the Civil Service Commission shall be appointed by the Council in accordance with Article VII, Section 3 of the Charter from residents of the City who are at least 21 years of age at the time of appointment. Members of the Civil Service Commission must remain residents of the City throughout their term on the Commission. City Council may remove any member of the Commission who ceases to meet these eligibility requirements or otherwise becomes unable or unfit to complete the member's term by a majority vote of City Council.
