(a) The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into mutual fire aid agreements with any political subdivision or firefighting agency within Stark County or within a twenty-five mile radius of Stark County to provide or obtain fire protection whether on a regular basis and/or in times of emergency.
(b) The City Manager is hereby directed to notify Council by memorandum of any such mutual fire aid agreements which memorandum shall be entered and noted in the minutes of Council.
