167.02 MEMBERS; TERMS; COMPENSATION.
   (a)   The City of Louisville Parks Advisory Committee will consist of five (5) members. The City of Louisville Service Director shall be a standing Ex-Officio member. All appointed members shall be residents of the city. The Committee shall make its own rules and regulations subject to the approval of the City Manager and keep a journal of its proceedings.
   (b)   Members of the Committee shall be appointed by the City Council and will serve terms of three years, except that of the five members first appointed, two shall be appointed for an initial term of four-years. Committee member terms shall begin on the first day of January and end on the 31st day of December. Committee members may be removed by majority vote of City Council. In the event that a vacancy occurs during the term of any member a successor shall be appointed by Council for the unexpired portion of the term.
   (c)   Members of the Committee shall serve without pay.
