SECTION 15. CHARTER REVIEW.
   In January, 2025, and each five (5) years thereafter, or sooner if deemed necessary in a resolution passed by Council, the City Manager shall appoint, subject to confirmation by the affirmative vote of a majority of the members elected or appointed to Council, five (5) electors of the Municipality, not holding other municipal office or employment, as members of a Charter Review Commission. Such Commission shall review the Charter and recommend to Council such amendments, if any, to this Charter, as in its judgment are desirable. The Council may by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of its members submit any such proposed amendments to the electors at the next regular primary or general election occurring at least sixty (60) days after Council shall so vote. The members appointed to said Commission shall serve without compensation. Meetings of the Charter Review Commission shall be open to the public. (Added November 3, 2020)
