SECTION 5 AGE REQUIREMENT FOR POLICE OFFICERS AND FIRE FIGHTERS.

Eligibility to take an examination for and receive an original appointment to the City Police Department as a police officer, or to the City Fire Department, as a fire fighter, shall be determined by ordinance.
