(a) Vertical curves shall provide the following stopping sight distances: arterials 500 feet; collectors, 350 feet; and locals, 235 feet.
(b) Grades shall not exceed six percent on collector streets or ten percent on local streets except in the case of unusual topographic conditions as approved by the City Engineer. No street shall have a grade less than 0.5 percent.
