Land annexed to the City after the effective date of this UDO shall continue to be governed by the Township Zoning regulations that applied to such land prior to the annexation. As soon as practical after annexation to the City, proceedings shall be initiated by the Planning Commission, City Council, or the property owner to include the annexed land into one or more of the zoning districts defined in this UDO.
