The City Tree Board develops and maintains, upon approval of the City Manager or designee, a list of desirable trees that may be planted along streets in three size classes based upon mature height: small (under 20 feet); medium (20 to 40 feet); and large trees (over 40 feet). Efforts shall be made to ensure a sufficient diversity of tree species in each size class. A list of trees not suitable for planting will also be created by the Tree Board and approved by the City Manager. (Ord. 19-33. Passed 8-19-19.)
