553.04 OPERATION OF SIGNAL LIGHTS AND GATES.
   (a)    No conductor or other person in charge of a train or locomotive, nor any person in charge of a track repair crew, signal crew or other railroad crew shall actuate a railroad crossing signal light, crossing lights or crossing gates and permit the same to be continuously in operation for more than five minutes.

   (b)    Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
