454.03 MARKINGS; LOADING ZONES.
   The Chief of Police shall have lines or appropriate markings painted upon the curb or street adjacent to each parking meter outlining and designating the parking meter zone or space for which the meter is to be used. Each vehicle parked adjacent to any parking meter shall be parked within such lines or markings. No person shall park any vehicle across or on the outside of any such line or marking or park a vehicle in such a position that it is not entirely within the space designated by such lines or marks. The Chief of Police may provide, by appropriate markings or lines, loading zones on such streets or parts thereof, which may be used by commercial trucks or delivery trucks for the purpose of loading or unloading merchandise or materials without the erection of parking meters thereon or the requirement of the deposit of any coin for the purpose only of loading and unloading. No vehicle shall occupy such loading zone for a period in excess of thirty minutes.
