440.09 INFORMATION AS TO ROUTES, DESTINATION, ETC.
   (a)   All drivers of vehicles described in this chapter shall be required, upon request by any member of the Police Department, to give full and true information as to the route they are following, the name of the consignor and consignee and place of delivery or removal and the location of any consignment being hauled or goods being removed. Upon a designation by such police officer of a route to be followed, no driver shall fail to immediately adopt and pursue such route. (Ord. 785. Passed 2-6-61.)
   (b)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
