247.02 OPENING OR CLOSING GRAVES.

In addition to his or her regular salary, the Cemetery Sexton shall be paid additional compensation as determined by the Cemetery Board for each grave site opened and closed by him or her. However, this section does not prohibit the Cemetery Board or the Cemetery Sexton from contracting for these duties as necessary.

(b) No burials shall be scheduled on Sundays or the following legal holidays:

New Year’s Day

Memorial Day

Independence Day

Labor Day

Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Day
