238.05 TEMPORARY PART-TIME WORK; OVERTIME.
   Police may draw the hourly rate that is paid to extra or special police when they are asked to work hours or periods that have generally been worked by part-time police, i.e., if one of the regular officers is off sick or on vacation, another of the regular officers may work that particular duty and be paid the hourly rate. If an officer elects to work his regular vacation, he may be paid the hourly rate in addition to his salary. This section shall be effective January 1, 1988.
