850.12 PROHIBITED ACTS.
   No person shall:
   (a)    Drive any taxicab or motor bus while under the influence of any alcoholic beverage or drug of abuse; drink any alcoholic beverage or partake of any drug of abuse while operating a taxicab; procure, transfer or transport, or aid or abet in the procuring, transfer or transportation of any alcoholic beverage or drug of abuse. Drug of abuse, as used in this subsection, shall have the meaning given in Ohio R.C. 3719.011.
   (b)    Allow any taxicab to be used for immoral purposes; procure or aid in procuring any woman in any taxicab for immoral purposes; or allow a woman in any taxicab while the same is at any stand or upon any street waiting for customers;
   (c)    Blow a taxicab horn or call for passengers from the street or curb;
   (d)    Charge a rate of fare which is discriminatory or unreasonable and inconsistent with the rates charged throughout the area served;
   (e)    Fail, neglect or refuse to turn over to the Chief of Police, within twenty-four hours, all lost articles found in any taxicab;
   (f)    Drive or operate any taxicab upon any street in the Municipality unless the owner thereof is operating under and pursuant to the required certificate of public convenience and necessity;
   (g)    Fail to notify the Chief of Police within fifteen hours after any accident, giving the time and location of the accident, the name of any person injured, the condition of the injured person and the character of injuries, so far as is known, and, in the case of property damage, the estimated amount of such damage;
   (h)    Travel up and down the streets seeking customers (commonly called “cruising”);
   (i)    Operate a taxicab without the required liability insurance.
