§ 132.01 RESISTING ARREST.
   By threats, menacing acts and otherwise, to forcibly and illegally hinder, obstruct and oppose, or attempt to obstruct and oppose, an officer in this state in the lawful exercise and discharge of his or her official duties by unlawfully beating with his or her fists, kicking with his or her feet, grabbing and otherwise opposing an officer, a duly appointed member of the town’s Police Department, while said officer was attempting to lawfully arrest said criminal will automatically be a fine and/or time in jail.
