The Los Angeles Residential Code adopts by reference portions of the California Residential Code (CRC). Chapter 1 and Appendix S of the CRC are not adopted. Article 1, Division 1 of Chapter IX of the Los Angeles Municipal Code is adopted by reference with the following additions and amendments.
