In addition to the other duties assigned to the Office of Administrative and Research Services by the Charter or by ordinance, the Director shall, if appointed by the Council, serve as a member of any Committee or other such body created by the Council or to which the Council has appointing authority. Effective July 1, 2000, the Director shall serve on any committee previously established to which the City Administrative Officer was appointed a member, until such time as the Council takes appropriate action to change or eliminate the Director’s membership.
