503.03 EXCEPTIONS.
   Sections 503.01 through 503.03 do not apply to any sign which is not visible to motorists or pedestrians on any public highway, street or alley, nor to any specific information panel for the direction of motorists which may be located, under authority of statute, on any highway property of the State. Sections 503.01 through 503.03 do not regulate the size, lighting or spacing of signs and do not apply to temporary political signs. Political signs are defined as signs advertising the candidacy of a person seeking public office and/or issues that are to be voted upon by the public.
