The parks of the City of Lorain are established, controlled and managed by the Board of Park Commissioners, which was established January 1, 1934, following the general election of November 7, 1933. The Board of Park Commissioners was established in conformity with Ohio R.C. 755.01 and derives its powers and duties under Ohio R.C. 755.02 et seq.
Consult the office of the Superintendent of Parks for rules and regulations or other provisions relating to the Municipal parks.
