1228.06 WATER LINES AND WATER SUPPLY.
   (a)   Public Water Supply. Where public water supply is available as determined by the Board of Public Utilities, the subdivider or developer shall observe all the requirements as set forth by Council and the Board of Public Utilities.
   (b)   Individual Water Supply. Where public water supply is not available, the subdivider shall supply acceptable evidence of the availability of water. The subdivider may be required to make one or more test wells in the area to be platted if such evidence is deemed not acceptable.
   Copies of well logs which are obtained shall include the name and address of the well driller and shall be submitted with the plat to the Planning Commission.
   (c)   Location and Construction of Individual Private Wells. Individual private wells shall comply with the specifications of the Madison County Board of Health.
   In all cases where it has been determined that individual water supplies from private wells are not feasible, a public water distribution system shall be required.
   (d)   Public Water Distribution Systems. Public wells and other public water distribution systems shall meet the requirements of the State Department of Health.
