It is recommended, but not mandatory, that all residents register their bicycle with the Logan City Police Department. Registration is free of charge and available to only bicycles and e-bikes. The chief of police, or their designee, will issue a decal sticker bearing the license number assigned to the bicycle with instructions to the owner as to where the decal is placed on the bicycle. The decal shall be firmly attached to the frame of the bicycle. Valid proof of bicycle ownership is required at the time of registration. The Police Department will maintain a database of registered bicycles that may assist in the recovery of stolen bicycles. (Prior code § 5-1-7; amd. Ord. 22-10, 5-3-2022)
