2.02.330: DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION; CITY RECORDER:
   A.   The general functions of the city recorder are to keep the records and papers of the city including contracts, deeds, licenses, ordinances and resolutions and to keep a record of the proceedings and the meetings of the governing body and perform all other functions required by law.
   B.   The city recorder shall countersign all contracts made in behalf of the city and make a record of all contracts, properly indexed. He shall attend the meetings of the governing body and keep a record of their proceedings and keep and file such other records, documents, etc., of the city and perform other such functions and duties as required by law.
