A. The general function of the department of treasurer is to take custody of all monies, bonds or other securities belonging to the city, to provide for the investment of all idle cash, and to perform all other functions and duties required by law.
B. The city treasurer shall be responsible for the proper receipt of all city monies, take custody of the same, provide for the investment of all idle cash and perform all other functions and duties required by law. (Ord. 91-22 § 8, 1991)
