Every person to whom a plumbing license is granted, whether as a plumber or as a drain layer, shall file a bond with the Director of Public Service and Safety to the approval of the Director, with at least two sureties or an approved surety company, in the sum of $7,500, conditioned to indemnify and save harmless the city from all damage arising from the laying of drains or from connections made with the public sewers.
