(A) Taxicabs shall at all times, when in operation and not engaged, furnish trip services on demand to any orderly person for lawful purposes, and deliver any passenger to any lawfully designated destination. ('59 Code, § 761.12)
(B) It shall be lawful for a driver of a taxicab to demand payment of the legal fare if the driver has reasonable cause to believe that the passenger may fail or refuse to pay the fare. ('59 Code, § 761.14) Penalty, see § 115.99
