Upon the conviction of any operator of any billiard room or bowling alley licensed under this chapter of a violation of any provision of the codified ordinances, the mayor may suspend any license in force under the provisions of this chapter, or refuse to issue any further license to the operator of any billiard parlor or bowling alley until directed otherwise by the council.
