§ 36.01 LETTING CONTRACTS WITHOUT BIDDING.
   Provided that adequate and sufficient funds have previously been appropriated and remain unencumbered for such purposes, the Director of Public Service and Safety may enter into contracts, without bidding or advertising, with the County of Hocking, Ohio, for the purchase of various types of soil, gravel, and sand, limestone, salt, salt mixtures, and gasoline; so long as the total of all such purchases does not exceed $ 35,000 per calendar year.
