§ 33.02 PERFORMING DUTIES OF OTHERS.
   The chief of police shall be eligible to perform the duties of any member of the police division in addition to his regular duties, provided a member of the division is absent from duty, and shall be compensated therefor as provided by council. Each member of the police division shall be eligible to perform the duties of any other member of the police division, as directed by the chief of police, provided a member of the division is absent from duty, and shall be compensated therefor as provided by council.
