ORDINANCE NO. 48, 1994

   AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT CURRENT REPLACEMENT PAGES TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES.

   WHEREAS, certain provisions within the Codified Ordinances should be amended to conform with current State law as required by the Ohio Constitution; and

   WHEREAS, various ordinances of a general and permanent nature have been passed by Council which should be included in the Codified Ordinances; and

   WHEREAS, Council has heretofore entered into a contract with American Legal Publishing to prepare and publish such revision which is before Council; now therefore:

   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOGAN, STATE OF OHIO:

   Section 1: That the ordinances of the City of Logan, Ohio, of a general and permanent nature, as revised, recodified, rearranged and consolidated into component codes, titles, chapters and sections within the 1994 Replacement Pages to the Codified Ordinances are hereby approved and adopted.

   Section 2: That the following sections and chapters are hereby added, amended or repealed as respectively indicated in order to comply with current State law:

   33.01 - 33.27   Police and Fire Divisions (Amended).

   36.01 - 36.04   Miscellaneous (Amended).

   70.01 - 70.04   General Provisions Definitions (Amended).

   71.01 - 71.99   Licensing Provisions (Amended).

   72.13 - 72.71   Traffic Rules (Amended).

   73.01      Driving Under Influence (Amended).

   73.02      Driving with impaired alertness or ability (Amended).

   73.05 - 73.31   Motor Vehicle Crimes (Amended).

   74.01 - 74.44   Equipment and Loads (Amended).

   75.01 - 75.09   Bicycles and Motorcycles (Amended).

   76.05 - 76.99   Parking Regulations (Amended).

   90.01 - 90.99   Animals (Amended).

    91.01 - 91.99   Liquor Control (Amended).  

   97.01 - 97.04   Railroads (Amended).

   131.05 - 131.08   Offenses against Property (Amended).

   134.02 - 134.09   Gambling (Amended).

   135.01 - 135.99   Offenses against Persons (Amended).

   136.01 - 136.13   Offenses against Justice (Amended).

   138.01 - 138.99   Drug Abuse Control (Amended).

   139.04 - 139.12   Miscellaneous (Amended).

   150.01         Zoning Code (Amended).

   Section 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
