11-1-8: MOBILE HOMES OUTSIDE OF MOBILE HOME PARKS:
   A.   Parking On Public Ways: It shall be unlawful within the limits of the Town for any person to park any mobile home of any kind on any street, alley, highway or other public place in the Town.
   B.   Temporary Storage On Private Property: Temporary storage of unoccupied mobile homes on private property may be permitted for a period of forty eight (48) hours by obtaining from the Town Clerk-Treasurer a permit therefor by filing an application describing the premises on which the temporary storage will take place, duly signed by the record owner of such real property and endorsed by the owner of the mobile home stand stating that he understands that the permit is of a temporary nature and upon the payment of the fee as set by the Board of Trustees to the Town Clerk-Treasurer for the issuance of such permit, the Town Clerk-Treasurer shall issue said permit, which shall be attached in a conspicuous place upon said mobile home. Failure to obtain or attach such permit in a conspicuous place upon said mobile home constitutes an offense.
   C.   Zoning Clearance Permit Required: Except for temporary storage, as defined in subsection B of this section, or a permitted mobile home sales or service establishment for the purpose of sales or service, or within an approved mobile home park, no mobile home shall be parked, used or occupied on any tract of ground in the Town without a zoning clearance permit as required in this chapter.
   D.   Penalty:
      1.   The parking, usage, occupying or storage of any mobile home contrary to the provisions of this section shall subject the owner to a penalty by fine as provided in section 11-1-10 of this chapter, and each day shall be considered a separate offense.
      2.   The sufferance of an unauthorized parking of any mobile home by the owner of any real property shall subject said owner to the same penalty as set forth in subsection D1 of this section. (2014 Code § 12-206)
