The National Electrical Code, the latest edition thereof, as approved by the American Standards Association, for the installation of electrical wiring, devices and equipment, is hereby adopted as the minimum standard for the installation of all electrical wiring, devices and equipment in the Town, except as otherwise specifically provided in this chapter. The National Electrical Code is hereby made a part of this section as fully and to the same extent as if copied herein in full; provided, that the present or current issue of the National Electrical Code and any subsequent amendments thereto shall be considered as the National Electrical Code as that term is used herein.
