8-5-4: LIBRARIAN AND LIBRARY POLICIES:

A. The Library Board, with the approval of the Board of Trustees, may recommend the appointment of a librarian and may recommend an annual budget to the Board of Trustees.

B. The board may set the policies of the library, accept or decline gifts, and administer the expenditure of funds received from appropriations, gifts and grants.

C. The Library Board may contract for and receive funds available to it for library purposes from the United States, this State, and any agency or instrumentalities of these entities. (2014 Code § 11-206)
