It is unlawful for any person to build or maintain a junkyard or to place on Town lots within the Town a junkyard or material commonly found in junkyards, or similar places of business, such as old car bodies, old vehicles, wrecked vehicles, and old secondhand materials. It is unlawful to convert any lots which, as of September 1969, were not so used, into such junkyard or for the purpose of placing thereon material as described in this section. (2014 Code § 8-120)
