(A) The donation drop-off facility shall display the non-profit organization name, contact, address and phone number.
(B) Donation drop-off facilities shall be considered accessory use and shall meet the setback and yard requirements of the principal buildings in the subject zoning district.
(C) Drop-off facilities shall only accept small common household and clothing items that can be stored within the facility. Perishable items shall not be stored or accepted in a donation drop-off facility.
(D) Items that cannot be stored within the facility such as large appliances or other bulky items shall not be accepted.
(E) If the facility or the attendant occupies parking spaces, it shall not reduce available parking spaces below the minimum number required for the primary use of the property. The facility shall not obstruct vehicular or pedestrian circulation.
(F) No outdoor storage of donated items is permitted. Pick up times should be scheduled to avoid items being stored outside.
(G) Any open area beneath a storage unit shall be enclosed with a durable skirting material.
(H) Facilities should be located within commercial and industrial zoned districts or carefully located within non-residential use lots within residential districts to avoid disturbance to surrounding lots. All donation drop-off facilities shall be at least 100 feet from a property with a residential use.
(I) Facilities shall be maintained on a regular basis and shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition. The drop-off facility shall be repaired and or replaced immediately if damaged.
(J) The drop-off facility shall be locked and secured at all times.
