All street excavations shall be replaced within two working days provided the weather permits. If because of weather conditions, the excavation must remain open for a greater length of time than two days, then the city shall be notified and the excavation shall be closed and the pavement replaced on the first day the weather permits. The restoration of the surface shall be completed within 15 days of the completion of the excavation.
